Forest Broom
environmental sculpture
branches
Tremadog, Wales,
Great Britain, 1994
This sculpture
is situated on the slope of am mountain, marking the transition from a
dense forest into an open meadow. It is made from branches, which were
found in the place and interwoven with each other. Thus a
self-supporting, arching structure is created, which seems to be growing
from out of the ground, spreading and spilling over into the direction
of the clearing. |
